A Luxury Primary Suite Designed for Rest + Retreat | Davidson, NC
If you’ve been searching for a primary suite that feels like a private, five-star retreat, this Davidson, NC project captures that vision effortlessly. Where refined materials, elevated furnishings, and a calming palette come together to create a space that feels both indulgent and deeply personal.
This primary suite was designed to be more than just a bedroom- it’s a retreat, layered with warmth, texture, and elevated details that create an everyday sense of calm.
A Space Designed To Slow You Down
The goal for this room was simple: create a space that feels instantly grounding the moment you walk in. Every material, finish, and furnishing was selected with intention. Nothing rushed. Nothing overly trendy.
The result is a bedroom that feels timeless, quiet, and deeply comfortable.
Design Highlights: Warm, Textural, and Elevated
Venetian Plaster Walls
The walls are finished in a soft Venetian plaster, giving the room a subtle movement and depth you simply can’t achieve with paint. The finish reflects light beautifully while adding that signature “collected” feel that makes the space feel both luxurious and lived-in.
Curated Furnishings
We layered in premium furnishings from Four Hands to anchor the space, bringing in rich wood tones, soft upholstery, and clean silhouettes. Each piece was chosen to feel substantial yet relaxed, striking that balance between elevated and approachable.
A Warm, Neutral Palette
Soft neutrals, warm browns, and muted greens create a calming palette that feels cohesive without being flat. The tones work together to create a cocoon-like environment- perfect for unwinding at the end of the day.
Layered Textiles + Thoughtful Details
From the leather upholstered bed to the vintage-inspired rug and soft throws, every layer adds to the overall comfort of the room. Nothing feels overly styled- just intentionally put together.
