SARAH FIEL
Renovations Designer + Professional Organizer
Owner + Operator of Home Theory
Hi, I’m Sarah. I live for all things that are beautiful. Outside of renovation design, I am deeply passionate about mental, emotional, and physical health.
I’m a firm believer in intentional spaces with much less stuff, because a calm physical space creates a less stressed mental state and we could all use a little more of all of that.
When I’m not on the job site you’ll find me planning our next family adventure, watching a documentary, reading, lifting weights, baking gluten free treats, or browsing inspirational quotes on Pinterest. The Midwest accent is from Wisconsin (Go Packers!), but I fell in love with the mountains and coast so I’m happy to call North Carolina home. As a homeschooling mom of 3 teens, I have a ton of experience managing the chaos and creating spaces that feel like home.
ERIC FIEL
Licensed General Contractor
Owner + Operator of Beyond Home Services
As my partner in business, and in life, he’s a jack of all trades (literally – I don’t know anything he can’t do). He’s happiest with a hammer in his hand and a tape measure on his belt.
Eric is a Licensed General Contractor and owns/operates Beyond Home Services, our partner Construction company. With an engineering background, 20+ years experience in the building and renovation industry, and a Midwestern work ethic, you won’t find a more hardworking and detail-minded Contractor around. Plus, he’s just a really nice guy overall. I may be biased, but his clients definitely agree.
If he’s not working (which is pretty rarely), you’ll find Eric mountain biking or on a fishing boat. Bonus fun tidbit about Eric… he’s an aspiring homesteader!
BAYLEE JUTTING
Design Assistant
Meet Baylee, Home Theory’s Design Assistant and resident multi-tasking creative. She has a degree in interior architecture and a background in designing kitchens, baths, and most recently, closets. (Even small spaces deserve to be pretty!!)
When she’s not working with the team, she’s running her own calligraphy business where she specializes in weddings, live events, and teaching workshops to people who swear they have “the worst handwriting ever.”
Outside of work, you can find her knee-deep in a DIY project she may or may not finish, convincing her husband to go on yet another walk, or planning and/or daydreaming about her next travel trip. She’s also a cat mom to two very photogenic cats. Ask to see pictures at your own risk, she will show you too many.
Baylee brings a love of thoughtful design, a good sense of humor, and just the right amount of Type A energy to the Home Theory team.
TONY PROULX
Crew Lead
Meet Tony, our trusty Crew Lead. He has extensive hands-on experience and a strong commitment to doing things the right way. Tony ensures every job runs efficiently and meets the highest standards from start to finish.
A Marine Corps veteran, he brings discipline, leadership, and clear communication to every project. These qualities help him manage full home renovations and coordinate with subcontractors on tight timelines.
Outside of work, Tony enjoys spending time with his wife, their son, and their two dogs. He often plays golf, explores the outdoors, or takes on new home projects—usually bigger than expected.
